Spinser Tracy
Spinser Tracy made his entrée in 2010, and has quickly evolved from an untested neophyte into one of the country’s most sought after and respected DJ’s. His passion and musical history inspire a fluid blend of a breadth of genres, from Top 40, to Hip Hop, Soulful House to Afrobeat, Funk, and more. Armed with a Jazz musician’s understanding of cadence and tempo, a drummer’s ambidexterity, and a lifelong appreciation of music, Spinser Tracy has set Washington, D.C. afire. A definite party- rocking favorite, he captured the 2012 Red Bull Thre3Style regional title in D.C., and went on to compete as a U.S. finalist in Orlando.
Early in his career, Spinser Tracy was recruited by the booming D.C.- based Rock Creek Social Club to anchor its nationally recognized Goodlife series at Recess Lounge, where he remains in residence. In 2011, he was chosen by acclaimed songstress Alison Carney as the official DJ on her “Alison Wonderland” tour. In 2012, he spun at Drake’s Official Concert After Party and LeBron James’ White Party, both at the prestigious Howard Theatre in D.C.
Spinser Tracy has anchored BET’s Rising Icons and the Grey Goose Mansion program, and has shared the stage as a performance DJ for B.o.B., Solange Knowles, Miguel, and J. Cole. In addition to his hometown happenings, he has rocked major nightclubs and private parties along the East Coast in New York City, Miami, and Philadelphia.
